Description
This, my friends, is a reference sheet I put together more than a year ago (yes there's lots of old stuff that needs to be uploaded)I believe I already mentioned that there are at least two different tribes/breeds of Tyraeli.
Each tribe inhabits a different climate zone and environment and has therefore evolved accordingly.
This sheet here shows two Tyraeli Accomdanih, one of the Jungle Tribe, one of the Desert Tribe.
The Jungle tribe calls Poysaara's lush rainforests their home, making their green skin a good camouflage. They mainly live in the gigantic trees and are excellent climbers.
The Desert tribe lives in rocky desert terrain, mostly in caves and crude huts. They're generelly bigger than the other tribes, with tougher skin to brace the rough elements. Also they are a lot more brutal and aggressive.
I had another sheet showing Aluerkawos but that one kinda got outdated before I even finished it because i decided to change the Aluerkawo's appearance altogether. But more on that in a later submission...
Also, perhaps I will put together a more detailed description for each tribe sometime in the future.

So, green are jungle tribes... and brown are desert tribes. What about the blue ones you made previously? Fantastic creativity and imagination, by the way.

Actually the Tyraeli 'were' blue before I changed them to green (and brown). So the blue Tyraeli are not really relevant anymore ^^

Awww... I really liked them blue ones... Oh, well. Hey, how come you don't draw the female Accomdanih anymore? Not sayin' the males are gettin' boring... I just think the females are missing out. :>

To be honest, the Tyraeli as a whole didnt get enough attention by me in the last couple of months (compared to a few years back). I really oughta change that >_>

Ich finde das Konzept klasse, dass es von einer Spezies viele Unterrassen gibt. In diesem Fall: eine etwas kräftigere und eine weniger massige Rasse. Das kommt sehr glaubwürdig und natürlich rüber. Auch sehr gut: das Farbschema (Naturfarben, wie immer) und der Größenvergleich für die bessere Vorstellung.
Übrigens, an dieser Stelle auch einen Gruß an dich! Hoffe, es geht dir gut. Ich selbst kann nicht klagen, es ist nur immer viel Arbeit in der Schule... aber ich schaffe es DOCH immer nebenbei, noch etwas zu zeichnen.
In diesem Sinne - schön, dass du deinen Figuren/Kreaturen weiter treu bleibst und alles Gute!!!

Ja, ich war eine zeitlang wirklich inaktiv auf dA. Manchmal packt mich einfach so eine upload-faulheit.
Auf jeden fall danke für deinen comment, über die freu ich mich immer.
Mir gehts ansonsten eh wie dir - viel Arbeit, von daher viel zeichnen. Allerdings nur selten etwas das mir auch Spaß macht. Aber ich will mich nicht beschwern ^^

actually Tyraeli have nothing to do with dinosaurs. They're an entirely different mammalian species on an alien planet.

is there many tyrali breeds living near the poles or the wetlands of the planet?

I think the jungle tribe would also cover the wetlands, granted they find it worth living there.
Also I already played with the thought of having an arctic tribe, all white and grey and stuff. But then again, I'm not sure I actually like the idea.
So far there's only those two big breeds. Of course there's a couple of smaller tribes/villages/families to each breed, so theres a lot of potential conflict everywhere. At least until those weird alien invaders show up (that would be the humans)

well i consider my technique rather 'cheap', as in that the shading is done fast (cell shading sort of).
I just apply flat colors to the drawing and do the shading by adding another layer, setting it to "soft light" and then draw in with black + white. Is this of any help? >_>

Dass sie früher bulkiger waren kann natürlich leicht sein, generell haben sich die Tyraeli über die jahre hinweg mehr oder weniger verändert. Ich hab mir grad ein altes artwork zum vergleich angeguckt und eigentlich haben sich grad die Accos noch am wenigsten von allen verändert. gucksdu hier: [link]
