Wow, this was very helpful. So...since I have Adobe Photoshop CS3, it'll probably not work for me, right?
Also, you see your lineart you scanned in? Was that just in pencil and by doing the "audio contract/value", did that make the lines darker and look more professional and clean with out you having to go over everything single line with you brush? I am new to Photoshop, so I do not understand much about it, so if you or anyone could help explain, I would really appreciate it
Great tutorial and I plan to use it, once I figure it out, lol

You could use image > adjustments > level or image > adjustments > brightness/contrast in Photoshop to adjust your lineart to be more cleaner after scanned it ^^ I have explained these in step 1 & 2 ^^ I guess all Photoshop has the same basic : )

how do you draw the face, body, pose and background? T_T I wish you would make a tutorial for that. I am hopeless at drawing from scratch. Pleeease.

Hmm.. It would be useful to me if i only knew the right way to scan, upload the picture scanned and take it from there. Other than that, pretty followable

No, I was not asking for an Inking tutorial. Kyou has one already that really helped me a lot.
I wanted to know if yout "Prepare Lineart Tutorial" was for pencil drawings or for inked, and if it works with pencil drawings.

Very nice That's a very good way to get rid of the white background, thank you
I usually sketch on the PC but I suppose I could put my poor scanner to use some time. It's been neglected ever since I got my tablet
