Is this an image done based on the book by Michael Scott? Or a figment of your own mind? Either way, nicely done, I adore the colors used and the effect the drawings have. Nice work!

There could be some influence as although his books are a bit teen oriented as action and development of the story, he somehow succeeds to put between some very valuable info. Still waiting his 5th book to be translated.

I believe his books to be quite good You're right, there are some facts which can be considered of value. I, for example, lean towards books like his because I can learn while not having to read an in-depth non-fiction book on the subject.

Well they are a bit predictable, not so deep as those of Donald Tyson who also writes fiction about Dee and Enochian magic. In fact I was a bit surprised to see John Dee as a bad guy, he was actually above good and bad. Yet the author dug a lot about Flamel and he was a very real personage. I wrote also some small funny story about John Dee in the comment of this work - [link]
Sure one can learn more from fiction books just as it is a lot easier to remember the facts in an interesting representation. You can learn much more about history of France for example from A. Dumas books

I will definitely need to check those books out. And there are many books that have become quite predictable. I'm not defending the Michael Scott series, I am merely pointing this out. In many books I have seen the pattern of "hero wins". Examples include Harry Potter & Percy Jackson. While each book brought a different story, the main point has always been "small" fights leading up to something bigger.
*SMALL SPOILERS ON HARRY POTTER AND PERCY JACKSON*
For Harry it was defeating Voldemort and for Percy it was a battle against the Kronos.

Sorry I'm not at all into Harry Potter stuff, I've seen one movie yes. The problem is that the whole story and idea is stolen from far better Earthsea series of Ursula Le Guin. Only is more childish.

I adore reading, and I will certainly need to get my hands on the series you have mentioned! I keep an open mind to most books
