Description
One of my favorite Warriors characters and of course she's also an actual historical figure as well, known for her bravery and beauty. In the scope of the Warriors games she's best known for working with the Hojo clan and later the Toyotomi. Historically she's Ujinaga Narita's daughter, born in 1572. She had two sisters, and was a bit tomboyish to appease her father who'd wished he'd had at least one son. She lived at Oshi castle for the majority of her youth and had an arranged marriage to Narishige Yura at a very early age until he died in 1578.

Kai was 19 when Mitsunari Ishida attacked Oshi castle. She donned armor and went to battle on horseback alongside 200 men, where she slew a Sanada retainer, taking his head. Mitsunari surrendered and was ridiculed for losing to a woman.

When Odawara castle surrendered, her father did as well and Hideyoshi forgave their resistence. They kept their property and were entrusted to Ujisato Gamo where they lived at Iwashiro-fukui castle. At one point when her father was gone, a rebellion was started by Shugen Hamada and her mother-in-law was among the casualties. When she heard, she went to Hamada, tricked him into lowering his guard and slew him and two of his followers, ending the fighting.

Hideyoshi heard of her bravery and was impressed. He made her one of his concubines and rewarded her family well. Her father became a general under him and they were given Karasuyama castle. During the Osaka Summer campaign, Kai is said to have either helped Hideyori's wife Sen escape, or escaped with his daughter Naa and her mother to the then female-only temple Tokei-ji where they became Buddhist nuns.
