Whole series is kickass and one of, if not the best, in the genre I think. I really hope it's not over, but I haven't seen anything about development on a fourth one.

Thanks much. I love all the Shadow Hearts games. I hope to God they're going to do a fourth one - they're just as good as the Final Fantasies. Have you tried Persona III? If you're a Shadow Hearts fan you'll probably like it a lot as well.

I'm friends with a few other Shadow Hearts fans, and they've kept mentioning Persona III--I really want to get it, but I think maybe I should wait I get gift money at Christmas.

Thank you very much. Shania's one of my all-time fave female protagonists, and Shadow Hearts is the one RPG series I hold above Final Fantasy. So I had fun doing this one.

WildArms 4 wasn't bad either. It didn't deserve the lackluster reviews it got. Thought it was better than 3 aside fom the lack of a fully explorable world map, which is annoying that RPG's in general have moved away from. I'd wanted to do a drawing of Raquel from it, but never got around to it.

Thanks. I didn't know that didn't make it over there. Did you guys get Wild Arms 4? Maybe it's because of the new publisher that picked it up. Man, I hope Xseed survives, mainly because I want to see the Shadow Hearts series keep going. It's the only RPG series that I can honestly say are as good as the Final Fantasies. I loved SH3, but Covenant's still my favorite, for the fact that it was WWI era, which isn't covered in modern fiction much, and their take on Asmodeus/Rasputin was bloody great. Rasputin was either possessed or a fallen angel himself - you can see it in his eyes in real pictures of him, and he really did cure Anastasia's brother. And of all the fallen to choose from to have him possessed by, Asmodeus was perfect because they're both almost identical in character in that they were both power driven lechers. All that, plus Yuri and Karin rock balls. All said though, Shania from 3 has to be one of my top two favorite heroines along with FF12's Fran.

Koudelka, SH1 and SH2C made if here, but 3 never did, which sucked. As far as I know, WA1, WA3 and now WA4 are out here. WA2 never made it here. Its weird how these things work.

I prefer SH3 over SH2C mainly because of the characters. Shania, Johnny, Frank and Hilda are awesome, and Ricardo is the greatest character ever.

Yeah that whole cast was great. I was surprised that I even liked Frank and Mao. Ricardo was very cool. I loved the whole chapter where he went to hunt down McManus in Vegas. I'd've done the same damn thing in that situation. Plus there's the fact of his usefulness - several of his songs make him essential in a boss-killing team. Be nice if the next one brings Keith back as a party member, or at least has his human form in it. Although I'm guessing their grandfather's most likely to be the next Valentine if they follow the pattern they've set down with the two previous. Never got a chance to try Koudelka, unfortunately. The series wasn't well known here until Shadow Hearts, and by then not many places carried its predecessor. I saw a used copy once since I learned about the series, and I happened to be broke at the time. Who were the main characters in that one? I know Koudelka and Albert Simon were prominent, but who else was in it?

Ya know, its been that long since I last played Koudelka.... I honestly cant remember much about it ^_^; I do remember Roger Bacon being in it though.
