Oh wow! This took soooo long to do!! Well, I guess I should tell you how I did it without ruining the original.Step 1:
I scan the pic onto my comp in a lighter shade and then printed it out. Then I inked it over on the print out and scaned it on again, only this time in black and White so I only got those two colors. Which produced the line art.
Step 2:
I put almost every detail of this on a seperate layer so it would be easier to shade. Then I screenshot a pic from the actual scene in the episode and used it as a palette for the colors, I had to change some though cause they were off a little bit.
Step 3:
Then I used the burn tool to shade and the dodge tool to highlight. And the outside is a combination of the smudge tool and blur tool, along with the paintbrush for the dots.
And voila!! She is finito!! This sounds really easy, which it is, but a very long process. I do enjoy how it came out though. It looks amaz-z-zing!
