holy crap this took a long time. Was it cuz we put tons of work into it? (well we did...) but no, it was because we are lazy bitches and bxirk has a 56k modem lol.
Great fun to do and I think it turned out great. Originally the piece was vertical, but we found out that it looked better like this. (oh and it looks great if you blow the canvas size up to 1024x768, and just have extra black around the outside so do that if you wanna use it as a wallpaper.
now, bxirk started it off by sending me an unbelievable render with some nice brushing all over it. I took that, saturated it a bit, added some red tones and such, and brushed in some more detail. I also threw a render down on top to give it WAY more detail. Sent it back to then I started with the basis of the 2d. Sent it back to bxirk... he added some little touches, and then back to me and I added a little bit more.
and then we thought it was done.
so here it is.

I think wind is next, but we may suprise you with earth
