Hm, what an interesting pare. As a matter of fact, I find Samurai Jack and Kubo very similar to the story, Now that I've thought about it ^^.Β
Hanzo and Jack both samurais trying to face their mortal enemies that taken their lands and destroyed it now trying to kill the demons for revenge until they come upon these two daughters of the evil, Sariatu, and Ashi. Both fought until they realize the person they were fighting but now falling in love are their quests ^^. But, except Ashi disappeared from existence while Sariatu was killed by her own evil sisters. So, that makes these two stories almost similar but have the same character designs ^^

Not to mention how both stories learn to recognize the importance of ending a story, even if it has to be on a bittersweet note
"Kubo and the Two Strings" ends with Kubo being orphaned so suddenly, but only until his amnesiac grandfather and (new) grandmother adopt himΒ Β
"Samurai Jack" ends with Jack losing Ashi because he changed the past, but he's nonetheless home in an ancient Japan that is healing

You don't need to be ashamed about it, it's okay to deny my opinion ^^ I just like happy endings better than bad and bittersweet endings

For if you do so during our journey, our heroes are surely lost. Β This would be such a cool crossover.

"For if you do so during our journey, our heroes are surely lost."
If "Kubo and the Two Strings" had really been a book made into a movie, that would've been a really cool narration for the book!
Thank you!

Kubo using different colors of paper to represent different characters and obstacles in his story... it makes me think of all the theory of representation and composition I have been reading about lately. Β I'm taking a class on the Picture Book for my library science graduate studies this semester, and I have had to read up on these things. Β If you can check out "Picture This: How We Feel Pictures" by Molly Bang, please do so.

Nice work. Though, Kubo and his family would have a hard time beating Aku becasue of his shape-shifting and that no weapon mortal weapon can harm him.

An intriguing scenario! Though I feel like Jack would be at a slight disadvantage if Karasu (sister with the claw weapon) ever got her hands on his sword. But I'm sure he'd get it back in no time. I like how this picture gets you thinking and calculating how the heroes would defeat the villains.

It would almost be like "Zelda Skyward Sword", where you could lose your sword to Ghirahim Β <----This is him
Thank you very much!

Don't worry, the good news is, he won't touch your sword once it's infused with the gift to repel evil! Β Β
