Description
Whew..Took the original 'PerceptionCubed' into Photoshop for a lot of post-production cleanup- about 10 or 12 hours worth.
Fixed all the shadows and shading, changed the space background, and preformed general image cleanup, pixel by pixel in some cases.

Man this is sweetness. I looked at the original picture and well. It looks like that a lot ( which I think was your intention? ). I love what you did to this piece. And the heaven in the background got some kind of focalpoint now. Wonderful job [:

Its not something I'd use as a wallpaper but as a peice of art I think it's really cool. I think its cool to see you redo a peice by Escher. It is original in this deviant community. Good work.

mhm... i like it very much, but itΒ΄s a bit a pity that youΒ΄ve copied the original so exactly (except from the small details).
But its very well copied!
Why not try to use these skills to make a unique piece, maybe with 4 dimensions?
I like it very much in some of eschers works when parts of one view are have a new Β΄functionΒ΄ in another view. hope you understand what i mean.. so for example when a roof in the horizontal-view becomes a wall in the upview...
im sure, you could handle this..

Absolutely right liquisoft, the original concept belongs to Escher.
If I hadn't lost the link I would have placed it at the bottom of the image next to Escher's name.
Thanks for posting it (and allowing me a chance to copy it down again).

If you folks dont believe me, I have obtained a link to the drawing. It is a wood engraving printed from 3 blocks. It was made in 1947. Here's the address: http://www.worldofescher.com/jpgs/Anothe rWorldIILg.jpg

Actually it's not an original idea. This idea was created by an artist quite some time ago who specialized in odd perspective drawings. This is merely a 3d version of the same drawing by M.C. Escher.

very nice color touch...it helps to separate you from the escher influence...brings your talents out nicely...

I like this modified version that much more. I think it's excellent use of color and the addition gives it a whole new texture.

As if the original wasn't cool enough... This really rocks! I actually considered doing something like this some time ago, but the technical skills are beyond me. I'm glad to see such talent here, keep up the good work!

Cool idea, really original and kind of intriquing, a proper 4:3 resolution but, the colours make my cringe, a wicked idea, just switch up the colours.
