Description
Done as a sample for XXL mag. Wanted to try drawing some MC's in this sort of style, but I dont think its quite what they were looking for. I dont particularly think I caught his likeness either. I dont hink charicatures are really my strongest point.Colours were done by me on this one....Since doing this I have refined my 'cell shaded' colouring style alot further, and I will post examples of this later on this month.....

I love what you did with Mef...I remember when he did that cover for XXL with the Wu back around 2001. I seen him twice with Redman out here in San Diego. Maybe you can do one for me in the future?

i dunno J. i would have known it was Mef whether you said it was or not. the clothes, the look, the ring, everything, its him man. i think you hit it alright, tho i can see a "tough guy rapper mag" like XXL not really feeling it - they just closed minded or something. this is great stuff. i think the colours were handled damn well too. is there anything you cant do?

TICAL!!!!! I like the image a whole lot the clothes are spot on. Meth always gets gaught wearing joints like that. As for the likeness its one of those "If-You-Tell-Me-Who-It-Is" kinda pics. where I see the Likeness once you say the name. Primo shit regardless.

Yeah... I get the avatar thing alot. I find myself staring too. wasting anywhere from 2 - 15 minutes. Keep posting tho man. I'm learning alot from your lines. I'm the kind of person that Analyzes WHY I like something. Seeing your art helps me inmprove mine if that makes any sense.
