Hey guys!Its been a little over a week since my last art posting, so I thought I should put something new up for you guys to see!
This here is a finished version of one of my sketches I posted a couple of weeks ago. I inked it for fun, and sent it to my friend, who is one of the actual creator of EVE. He coloured it, and this was the result.
On a side note, this is the same guy who I am working on my new comic book project with so this is the kind of stuff you can expect us to release, but in sequential and printed form sometime soon

thats some awesome work. I loved reading that EVE series, so cool to see some fanart... although, since you worked on it with liquid... is it really considered fanart? hmm. well either way, I like how you maintained the feel and used similar shapes, etc, to the original despite the chibi style

haha...yeah, I guess it is a bit of a grey area, but at the end of the day it is a fan piece since I did it for fun and enjoyment! The colours can be official though I guess!

i saw the origional on conceptart.org... taking out th radial blur did it some justice. and you said you didn't draw this? i would best if you tried to alter the wings w/o destroying the balance like adding some more where the wings connect to the body. or something other than that it pretty awesome

hmmmmmmm...you probably saw a different version than this. This one here is the original version drawn and inked by me, coloured by Liquid!....The guy who actually owns the character E.V.E.

Loved this book when it came out in the early 90's. Maybe Christrian Lightner will bring it back some time. awsome Job on the character

ah yeah....I have done a a couple of things with liquid here and there, but I believe this is only like the 2nd thing I have posted on DA with his colours.
I am currently working on a comic book with liquid! though.

Liquid! was the entire reason I started digitally colouring. No word of a lie. As I recall I picked up an issue of Battle Chasers and was floored, positively stunned by the elegance and beauty of the work. Later I found my way over to Ironman and the marvelous colours contained therewithin.
So, besides your piece being absolutely beautiful, I would like to extend a 'thank you' to your friend for inspiring me to pursue a path which was foreign and yet intriguing.
