Port des Torrent, Ibiza.If only the sky had been blue that day... This place is at the heart of what I can only describe as a beautiful, abandoned wasteland balancing on civilisation's edge. There is nothing here but the ruins of what men tried and failed to build, fallen trees, hard cliffs and a view over the sea that stretches into forever.

I like how you got half of the water and half of the rock area in the pic. The water looks good to take a dip in.

Yea, that's sort of the balance of land and sea that I was aiming for. And it was GREAT to swim in! There was a wonderful little beach just around the corner.

Great rock strata .... looks like a layer of Limestone above Sandstone .. could be wrong it's a long time since I did A-level Geology!

The sheer cliffs and sparkly water are great, but yeah it's a shame about the sky.

Nice scenery..... but the cliff's edge is being "cut" on the left. Nice shot nevertheless.

Yea, the original image has it and I played with the cropping for a while. I guessed some people wouldn't like it with that part cut out but I just prefered it that way. The image seemed a little unbalanced if I left it in because that part, aside from the cliifline was all plain and boring, featureless rock!
