So, I've never worked so hard for so long on any piece of art in my entire life. For real. There is nothing I have ever drawn before that's taken more time and effort.
I'm really really happy it's done.

I FORGOT TO DRAW LUNA'S WINGS IN THE SECOND PANEL. Not fixing it.
Also I legitimately didn't bother to draw Dash's cutie mark in the first panel.
I HAD A LOT OF STUFF TO DRAW OKAY?
Also, a warning to anyone who wants to hit the download button... look at the size of the file and think about it before you do.
Lastly, for Applejack and Rainbow Dash's shocked expressions, I intentionally sorta borrowed bobthedalek 's art style because I really like how he draws pony faces. :3

Genius. This is the wittiest writing from any comic you've made to date. Applejack's final line absolutely killed me; poignant and hilarious.
Your artistic skill is really starting to show too, I think. Your work with facial expressions really shines in this, especially in panels 4-9. Applejack's big toothy grin, Luna's scrunchy-nosed bemusement-become-rage faces--they breathe so much life into the characters, allowing them to wear their personalities on their faces, as it were. The writing combined with your increasingly impressive artistic skills makes this my favourite comic to date.
You do realize though that his just means you've raised the bar. Time to see if you can top yourself again. Don't know about you, but I'm confident.

I just realized that whenever I +watch someone, I almost never fave their stuff anymore. Dis is faved. Cuz of the awesome. Rainbow Dash may be 20% more awesome, but Princess Luna exceeds her by another 15%. (That's 35% more awesome for those doing the maths.)

there is a good reason why you shouldn't mess with alicorn, short of being some badass warrior or somehting.
aside for the likes of the regal sistesr, whom are connected to the powers of night and day, alicorns have all the advantages of ponies. the strength of an earth pony, the flight of a pegasus, and the of course magic. however it is to note that earth ponies and pegasi of particular talent will still be physically superior to an alicorn, for neither celestai nor luna can match rainbow dash's speed or the strength that is inherent in the apple family (arm wrestling match in the comic notwithstanding, think she cheated because she has some extra muscles in her back thanks to the wings). oddly enough the only ponies the truly surpass is unicorns in their particular field.
however it is the possession of all three characteristics that makes them so powerful. they have strength, flight, and icnredible magic, and it makes it extremely difficult to combat them. bypass their magic, you must deal with their strength. if have the strength, they will simply fly.
