I like how the pink border is a contradiction of the actual picture and vice versa.
Life is not all candy and pretty things, if one believes in candy and pretty things, one lives in a fantasy.... ahh, but then you say what is reality, other than what one builds up to rationalize things around oneself.
To some being chained up is the only reality, to others being being free of chains and believe ones free is reality, while they don't realize the invisible chains around their ankles.
So is someone who sees ones limitations less free than the person who doesn't. No, it depends if one aims beyond limitations or below them, the rest is relative.

well, flowers and landscapes are good too. especially yours. but yeah, dont hold back. hehe, i do the same thing. i usually only put up stuff i think other people might like... its not a good policy. maybe ill copy ya. ;p

i really like this one. challenging the camera again. im seeing all these little things, especially in the hands. one holds on for support (?), and the other holds the camera thing. well, dont know exactly what its saying, but i hear it.

and the borders are very nice. especially the photo slightly offcenter in the pink.

great shot, i like your idea here and i like your expresionism in the shot. the angels are good and the lighting is snazzy.
it will be nice see'ing your expresive side over your great landscape shots.

I'm busy making huge changes in my own life as well - seems spring is really about growth this year for some of us - as i pack up my belongings and get ready to move to a new city, a bigger apartment, look for new work, make new friends, etc., i wanted to take some time out so I could . . .

Applaud you rebird! I'm looking forward to seeing your growth spurt here at devart and I wish you all the best in your artistic endevours!! I say pull out all the stops - ya only live once! and as radio9x so perfectlly said - kick some ass girl friend!

moderation and restraint, words that seem engraved on our poor english psyches. Truly inspiring how your willing to throw caution to the wind .I can empathize to a point But find I am oddly terrified of most things unknown and spontaneous. Quite the contrary to how an artists mind and attitude to life should be i'm sure. Its just hard to ascertain the exact moment when you need not be afraid anymore.
For the weak and comparitably soulless be an example of how we all can embrace our lives and our creativity if we apply ourselves to our utmost dehree and don't hold back from what and who we really are.
