I got the other half of my Barry Edge today so here it is. Didnt think i'd ever get this one due to the price people normally try to sell them at. Luckily this one came up quite a bit cheaper so i took my chance and bought it. Luckily had no problems with customs getting it. Near mint condition, a few small scratches but nothing bad considering its age. Even the box is in good condition. A relief to see after the state my last gun arrived in..2001 limited edition, only 500 produced worldwide for the 5th anniversary of Resident Evil/Biohazard. Complete with manuals and 5th anniversary pin badge. One of the most sought after airsoft guns of all time
The most heavily modified of all the STARS samurai edges, not surprising considering Barry was the weapons specialist. The main differences being the extended rail, compensator and extended magazine modified to fire .40 S&W rounds as opposed to the standard 9mm rounds used by the standard model Edge, as well as the grips colour and emblem colour
I will get some better pictures of it another time
I am also trying to replace my Leon Desert Eagle with a new one as the damage on mine is too bad to repair (have tried) The same seller i got this from had it last night but i went to look today and its gone.. always happens. Asked if he might be able to get another though so will see

Yeah i love the metal case. They made a bit more effort on this one with it being the 5th anniversary model than the others with the packaging at least, all the others are just normal boxes so i like the difference with this one. I might try firing it sometime, i dont like to with rare models but just to see what its like
Yeah its not good. I could have got another if i'd acted quicker from the guy i bought this off but i waited too long and it sold yesterday.. Looking out for another one now

Oh sweet glorious goodness ^^ Another thing to note is that because it fires a .40S&W, it means it's a Beretta 96 series not the standard 92FS

True. It comes with the standard military model M92 manual though without the rail and compensator on it looks identical to the other models

Quick thing, you know if isn't the M9, the "M" designation doesn't go with any of the Beretta pistols. It's just Beretta 92FS

Oh you didnt get the cap? I normally always get them, apart from my lugers i dont think had them. Sucks you didnt get it 
This just has some slight scratches, mainly around the slide release catch but thats normal. Might be able to remove it with scratch remover but i dont want to risk making it look worse. Theres a few small chips off the edging on the frame in front of the mag but thats about it. Nothing to complain about with its condition. My DE is ruined though, trying to sell it now

Selling the DE eh? How much you want for it? I'm in need for a decent sidearm... now I know it's a Biohazard collectable but seeing the condition it's in I dont think a couple of skirmishes are guna make much difference xD.

Yeah i want rid of it, its not a collectible to me in this state. I dont know how much to ask for it, guess its down to what someone would pay for it. Obviously im never gonna get my money back for what i paid. The main problem isnt actually the scratches, its the discolouring underneath them. I tested some scratch remover stuff on it and it took them off, unfortunately however it only made the discolouring under them worse. Its like a goldy colour underneath which has come through and looks awful. In this state i sure wouldnt worry about skirmishing with it. I was considering replacing the slide and frame with my new chrome TM set to help me sell it. Its not an identical finish though as the DE is more silver than chrome but with the state mine is in it would be better than that. I dont want to lose a huge amount of money but at the same time i cant expect someone to want to pay alot for this in this condition so just open to offers really

I paid around £280 i think it was.. not including shipping etc. I have tried to repair the damage but it didnt work. The discolouring on the scratch under the frame is worse, the scratch has gone but its gold now.. And i couldnt remove the varnish/epoxy stain or whatever it is. I tried some stuff on it but it didnt work. Would be ok for skirmishing though if you dont mind too much about it. I havent tried firing it myself but i assume it would still function fine. The manual and pin badges are missing but the mag is in pretty good condition and it has the cap 
I was going to be switching the slide and frame to the new one, depending how much it would cost to have it done, and sell it on an airsoft forum but i will keep it for you if you make a good offer. I can throw the new slide/frame set in too if you want to replace it yourself

£280 huh? I could probably offer in the region of £200-£225 for it if thats cool with you? Might be able to bump up a bit if need be
Nah the discolouring wont bother me much at all to be honest. If it doesnt fire to well/at all I'm sure I can do something about it

That would be a generous offer for it considering its condition. I can get you some pics of the damage if you want it. I shouldnt have tried to fix the scratches, i basically thought well i cant possibly make it any worse.. well now its gold. If that doesnt bother you though then thats fine. The slide/frame set i think cost me around £20, i had someone ask me recently if i would sell it to them but told them i was considering selling it with my DE to help sell it. However much you can offer would be great, least i know it would be going to you. I'd replace the parts myself but im unfamiliar with the DE internals so im not going to try incase i mess it up
I could possibly try firing it just to see. Think i have a small amount of gas left in the canister. I just dont like to fire them around here cause i currently live in a housing estate and the guns are pretty loud lol. If you do want to replace the slide and frame it would probably end up looking pretty good. Shame this had to be wrecked though, i dont get how anyone could get it like this

One of my mates has got 2 TM DE's, one of which is currently in pieces so I've got all the help I'll need checking it over an what not ^^
Nah I wouldnt worry about firing it then mate, I know what it's like living in an estate lol. Really scared a few people the other day firing my new TM FA-MAS in the garden full auto lol.

Ok i'll try get those tomorrow. My camera battery is nearly dead and my charger is at uni but hopefully have enough to get some pics. I would have to send it special delivery due to the value which i'd estimate would cost £10+ so the best you can offer i suppose i will accept. Im taking quite a loss on this as he charged alot for postage but what can i do, just wish i'd known about the damage and i wouldnt have even bought it. Just want a new one now to replace it
Ah i see, thats helpful then. I dont have anyone that can help me so any work i need done i have to send in to Zero One airsoft to do for me. Cost £20 just to fit my skeleton hammer 
Alright then. Yeah thats why i dont want to lol. Only ever have when testing my Wesker edge when i had some problems with it, needed to replace the blowback unit. That one wasnt too loud though, dont know about the DE. Been wanting to try out my M4 firing on semi or full auto but i dont want to here lol. Moving house soon though to a quieter area so might be able to fire them there
Yeah its horrible to see such a rare gun ending up like this.. if it was any old gun it wouldnt matter but a limited model like this. And the fact he didnt even bother to mention anything about it now im having to pay for it
