My best friend has left me today to join his twin sister. My heart is in pieces...I just don’t know what to do anymore.

I'm terribly sorry for your loss of a wonderful friend. I can't imagine how horrible and difficult this must be for you. It's okay to grieve as long as you like, but I hope your pain eases soon.
