What about Vacuumbending? Creating an utter absence of air, which would create some devastating effects. Both Vacuum and Sound are viable options, though, so I suppose Sound is an acceptable alternative.

i'm not sure vacuumbending would work. the only way it would is if you were in an enclosed space to prevent air from filling in the less dense areas, but when you have an enclosed space, there is no way for the air to be pushed out and create a vacuum.

But preventing air from filling it would be what airbending is for. You bend all of the air out of it, while preventing more air from entering. Then you release it and you have all of the air rushing to fill it at once.

I would imagine that this would take massive amounts of air-bending prowess to perform. Plus I don't think they know about the vacuum of space yet so hence the knowledge of the possibility of the technique eludes them. Personally this would be epic to see in action even though you technically cannot.
