Description I made a wholesale order of 200 of these mobius ball (chainmail "flower") stitch markers. I couldn't just send them off unphotographed! Not all 200 even fit in the pictures, but I love the effect. XD

I love these colours! I keep coming back and staring at this picture xD

It's also responsible for inspiring me to make wine charms, so I thank you for that!

I was wondering if I could use this image to make a 100x100px icon for LiveJournal? Credit will be given where it's due, of course

You did an excellent job laying them all out!

Did it take you longer to that, or to make them?

So colourful...

See, I take the easy way to get a shot like this:
1. Model one in Maya
2: Copy, paste
3: See 2

Mobius balls? They're really easy. Put two rings together and just put every next ring through the center of them. Each ring goes through all the other rings.

The colors look great, but I'm wondering (excuse my igorance please ñ_n), what exactly are they? O.o

They're used by knitters to mark where they are in a project. To my understanding, you count out a number of stitches, put the marker on the needle, and then keep knitting. That way you know where that one spot is, and if you need to start a new row there or something you can. I'm not a knitter myself, so I'm not exactly positive honestly. But it goes something along those lines.
