These new nifty little chainmail units are something I invented two nights ago. They're one large metal ring that's covered in folded rubber rings, which are secured by smaller metal rings.I plan to use them as necklace pendants, keychains, and earrings among other things.

What about Expressions or Expression Pendants? Since the different colors or how many points there are or what you put them on (necklace, keychain, so on and so forth) are expressing your personal taste?

Very nice. I seem to recall another weave that involves bent rings like that but, for the life of me, I can not recall what that weave was called. It should be on the M.A.I.L. site somewhere. I am rather certain that it was never used the way you are using yours though which is very snazzy.
For the purpose of your weave, I would probably go with the star theme for a name. And since the theory behind it is very Japanese-ish (vertical and horizontal ring sets) I would say "hoshi" (ζ

After much deliberation, Nova it is! It's short, to the point, easy to remember, and most of all, makes me think of supernova/exploding stars, which I think these are very starrish. Sending you a note now! Thanks!
