Hi, I am Robskind from the ProjectComment group, here to critique your sketch. First of all, I’m a major Star Wars fan and think that you rendered out Kylo Ren excellently! With his head down and tilted slightly to the viewer, it appears that he’s deep in thought and uneasy. It is fitting as Ben has always been unsure of whether he has made the right choices; he’s closing off his true self deep within Kylo Ren, the cloaked persona he goes around as during the present. The mask design appears to be accurate to the canon designs: the proportions of the stripes, eyepiece and breather seem mostly right (if anything, the mask might be a tad tall). You have included a lot of detail for a sketch, and the effort shows. There are evident attempts at shading, such as between the walls of the breather and underneath the hood fabric. If you are interested, then what you could do next time, to enrich the detail of your drawings, is apply more creases and folds to your fabric. A real-life hood, and most fabric, would have these: including them in the proper places would enhance believability. I think you should continue drawing in such style as you have great grasp already; I think attempting other Star Wars characters is also a great idea!

y'know, the new starwars trilogy has made some pretty big mistakes, but Kylo himself was pretty cool, I gotta admit. Especially after he ditched the mask--really helped him come into his own, I'd say.
