Description
Using my Original Sketch for Color Concepting... thus far.... Yeah :3Thus far, enjoying working Watercolors, taking my time with it, some colors still need emphasis, like darker shades of brown and shadowing.
Practice. practice. practice.

I ABSOLUTELY love how this is turning out! I love the tribal feel, and the red in the fur. Beautiful fur details, and varied length of lines and fur.

Hrm... I'm no colorist, but his paws look awfully charcoal gray and might do well with a little brown to fit with his pelt colors.
And I'm just noticing now that one of his tusks is chipped. Poor guy.

I am aware of this over gray.
Trying to use some of these pens that I have to get in shading that I can't manage with Watercolors, the paint has this.... film chalky layer if I put too much on to try and recenter the color.
Also feeling kinda Meh about some of the colors in the mane too. Little too much red > x >

Oh... didn't know if you were. Maybe in parts, the mane looks a little too red, but it looks mostly okay to me - then again, you've got the pic in front of you and I don't.
But yeah, I try to leave at least a marginally helpful comment.
