Guess who finally got a new tablet! Since Iv'e been putting it off for longest, I felt it was finally time to make that step into the future.

I Went ahead and purchased a Huion tablet from Amazon for about $45. I wanted to test out with an affordable model before shelling out more bucks to something more expensive like Wacom. I decided to use this WIP as my first project to practice with it. So far, I am loving it! The hand eye coordination between my computer screen and tablet takes some getting used to, but I know i'll get the hang of it.

This does not mean however, that I'll be giving up on traditional art. In fact I still prefer to do my sketching and ink work on regular pen and paper before adding the digital magic later. But there will be some variety as far switch between digital and traditional. And I still have far more to go as far learning Photoshop!
