My body awakened from my long absence. Text appeared before my confused eyes. Telling me my installation was complete and went away. I step forward, pulling what felt like wires from my body. Disconnect each and every one of them as I walked.

I vaguely remember anything... Hell, what was even my name.

My ears focused as I heard a quiet groan from behind me. I turn and spot a barely conscious female sitting in the corner of the room.

She faintly mumbled under her breath. "I-I'm... I'm going to die."

My eyes widened, quickly going to her body and picking her up. Her body felt extremely light, but I was always pretty strong... I mean... Not this strong, but...Text appeared again with caps and a arrow pointed at the female.

"WARNING! HIGH AMOUNTS OF DEADLY NEUROTOXIN AROUND THE AREA!"

My eyes widen and immediately scan the room. A arrow again pointed across the hall and 10 doors to the right.

"RELAXATION VAULT!"

I nod and dash to one of the many test chambers, coddling the female from inhaling anymore Neurotoxin'. "Don't worry dude, I got you. You're going to be safe. I promise." I say running down the hall. As I arrive into the room, I smash my fist down onto the button, opening the vault and rush in. I close the vault and letting fresh air into the small area. I spot a pod like bed and carry the female to it. She laid motionless in my arms. Light breathing escaping her lips.

I walk to the pod and open it, softly putting her inside and closing it. Vital signs appeared on a small screen that was on the pod. An image of a body nearly red, slowly fading to a neutral blue...

She maybe stabilizing, but for how long she'll recover. I'll never know.

I sat beside the pod and looked around the relaxation chamber. Text kept appearing as I viewed new things. What was wrong with me? Am I going insane? These text just kept appearing before me, they come to me as answers before I could even think.

Many bodies surrounded the area too, I didn't bother staring at them. I was in such urgency to save this one woman. Plus the thought of others suffering like her. I couldn't handle it. I couldn't help them.

What the hell happened...

I sat there, hours passed. Maybe even days, thinking, wondering.

My body stirred softly within the small space. My lungs filled with fresh air. Am I in a coffin? Well this is freaking disappointing... I at least thought I would go to heaven at least. MY eyes open slowly, light blinding a bit. No, this must be heaven. It has to be or I probably went on my drunken ventures again and climbed into an relaxation pod. Those screams, death and toxic gas. All a dream. A really, really bad dream.

"Oww..." I whimper out. My body also felt incredibly stiff too. As if I was laying here for weeks.

"Wow, I really thought you would never get up!" A voice shouted from outside the pod. I blink and look beside me, beyond the glass I saw my own creation and gasp.

"Alfred?" I said in shock.

He gave a confusing look and then to a look of relief. "So that's my name." he chuckled. I blushed a little. For a android, it made me believe for a second that he was really human. The pod opens and Alfred pulls me into a hug. "I can't tell you how long I've been wonder what my name was... Thank you." He said very relieved.

I sat there smiling slightly. My experiment was a success, I thought.

Then the realization set in. This wasn't a dream, this was really... GLaDOS really did unleash the NeuroToxin'. I pull apart from Alfred. "The scientist, Are they okay?"

Alfred frowned, taking his blue eyes away from me. "I don't want to talk about it..." the android said.

I frown as well and get out from the pod, although my body did feel to stiff to move. Alfred helped keeping me standing. I need to make sure. I needed to know that this was really happening. The Morality core couldn't have failed. I refuse to believe.

"Take me to her. Take me to GLaDOS" I asked.

Alfred raised a eyebrow. "Um... If I only knew who that was dude..." he said confused. He looked as though he was really trying to process my words.
