Update:-25/10/14. Fixed a few errors and weaker areas that have been bugging me for example the horns on the two ponies at the top . If anybody would like to suggest a character they would like me to add, then please leave a comment!

This is the third remake of the MLP request piece that I first started to put pen to paper last August (2013). It has being the longest time I have ever spent on a single piece but at the same time, the piece that I have learned the most from and come away with the most knowledge. I’ve even learned little bits about the show despite STILL not seeing any footage of it.
The biggest inspiration for this piece was a Zelda Fanart done by the artist AG+ in 2011 (I'm sure most Zelda fans have seen it!) That piece is the one that got me to try digital painting and this is my own tribute to that piece and its artist.
I would like to thank the fan base as it has also been one of the most understanding and helpful (mostly) to a non-fan. The feedback from the fans for the first and second pieces has all helped me create this third piece to which I think is one of the better artworks I have done. So thank you to all the Brony’s both male and female, young and old!
I tried to give them a mix of realism while still maintain the cartoonish element. I think for the most part it worked quite well.

Okay i'll be posting it on g+ tho so do you have g+ I can tag you on the base once I get it done but most likely i'll ask someone to do it for me since i'm TERRIBLE at drawing and sometimes i get WAY to frustrated so i trace

This brings back so many memories. Watching all of these crazy epic plot lines play out is cool enough, but to have them all summed up so well here in front of my face, it just brings the nostalgia crashing down. Excellent work on the villains. I particularly love the rendering of Sunset Shimmer. xD

As much as I love the detail in the manes from a position of artistic awe, I also can't pretend that it doesn't make most of the characters look like they have bed-head, which flattens the overall effect for me a LOT.

Well, we don't know for how many years the show will last and how many new characters will appear.

I wonder, where do you get the motivation to draw MLP: FiM fanarts from without watching it?

I'm not really sure, I suppose its because the feedback I get from the MLP fandom is usually more helpful which helps me create better work in the future (I hope!). To be fair though, most of what I have uploaded has come from this picture or the one before it.
I also find them really easy to paint!
