Description
A few people asked me to make a tutorial on how I pixel, so here you go!If anything is unclear, feel free to ask.
This is the icon I've made:Β
This is just the way I do pixel icons, by no means do I say that this is the only or best way to do it.

Cute! Any tips that you have? Especially on shading or something lol.

If you want a really easy and fast way of shading, I'd recommend the following:
As seen on image 1: when you are done with the base color, you put all the color on one layer and all the outlines on a layer above. Then you make a clipping group layer with the shade mode, select a color from the sketch and color everything where the shadow should fall. Adjust the opacity and done. - shadow!
As seen on image 2: sometimes a different hue of shadow fits the character better. When in the shade layer, go to filter > hue and saturation and adjust the hue to a more fitting color.
