Description
And when I get home, the adrenaline wears off and the regret washes over me. You know the same-old story, "what if?"What if she was friendly? What if I overreacted? What if I didn't stalk her and just said hello?
"Don't trust anyone," the voices of my parents say.
But...what if?
How long can I go on living like this?
My thoughts wound me deeper than any weapon could.

Thanks! Light is very hard to get right, but in 3d, it is the paint which we use to draw and create shapes.

I just feel sad when I see this, which is a beautiful thing to be able to get that emotion across. The thing that strikes me here is how familiar this feels, sitting in front of a computer, wishing you had someone to interact with, and...nothing. I think many people have these moments, but here, Eli is turning away from the screen, in her own world, and feeling trapped. In a way she is trapped two ways, both in her current survival situation underground, and the isolation trap she built for herself in her mind. Walls built out of fear and loneliness as just as tough to break through and escape from, and I feel this is something many can relate to.

Thanks! This is a fun series with a sort of realistic and darker mood, sort of like a gritty adult graphic novel. I love working on this, and there are some really beautiful shots in this one.

Yes, there are some fantastic renders, and great story elements. I have avoided Dawn for a long time because of a lack of suitable clothing, but you have made her work, good job!

Thanks again. I agree on the clothing problem, it has not gotten much better, but the cyber-suit is a great workhorse outfit (especially with her eyes and her expressions). I got some of the basic clothing for her and I need to see how that goes in some of the upcoming panels.
I am friends with her creators at Hivewire3d, both Chris and Paul, and I wanted to just really get in the trenches and use her in a serious project. V4 is still a workhorse for me (I should know, I helped bring her to life), but sometimes you need to sit down, deal with a new figure, and say "show me what you got." Despite some of her issues and the small amount of options at the moment, I feel she is worthy of some attention and certainly some more support.

No regret, I think the future will show some surprise!

Yeah, I should hope so for Eli - and we shall see.
There are times in life I feel this way, those 'what if' moments where you really, really wonder what would have happened if you did something different, spoke up, shared something, or took a chance at meeting someone new. This isn't the way to live, and this picture reflects how I feel when this happens to me.
Never lose your life to self-inflicted regret. Take chances.Β Live.
