Description
I did this conversion with two products, a 3Delight to iRay converter (www.daz3d.com/rssy-3delight-to⦠) and an emissive light set for iRay (www.daz3d.com/simple-emissive-⦠) on the bulbs. I used one red velvet material on the curtain because it blended in too much. The scene was dark so I opened up my exposure value to a second and the rest is gravy. So it is a really simple process to convert old bargain bin 3Delight and Poser sets to expensive-looking iRay works of art. If you are getting close up I would do some more material replacement, but as defocused background or mid to back-ground settings they normally work as-is (watch surface glossiness on these auto-converters since that can get out of whack easy and create unwanted or too-sharp highlights).
One post-work filter later and I have a horror set, ready to use that looks like I spent a lot on it.

Ack. Yes. I wish everyone could play like I do. This is my life, and I helped create all this crazy stuff. Been playing at this for...20 years starting as a kid with Poser 3? These days I try to show people what's possible. Not just sexy but some serious good story stuff, and a mix of sexy-serious-silly because that is who I am.
My next PC is coming. Hopefully I can get that working and setup by mid-September (and the next Survivor series will be done there). Going to speed up my work by a factor of 8 to 10. Still going to use this older beast as a render farm machine since it is a serious hauler. But the pain of moving it all over is coming up.
I do wish you good fortune and money to play with some day. These days 16G of RAM, a quad to six-core (AMDs work well), and at least a gForce 1060 to 1080 gets you in the door with 2-3 figure scenes at good resolutions (with some patience and tricks). The RAM and the graphics card (if you can get a newer 2060+ that is a great, the more VRAM the better) are the best investments.
