Now that I am awake enough to leave coherent comments, I must say that this is fantastic. The warm coppery color mixed with the gold gives it a really wonderful contrast with the cooler silver and steel.

For some reason Damascus Steel comes to mind when I look at his more robotic parts.

Damned fine looking thing you got there. I remember reading some of the ideas behind him somewhere I have to say you did a great job in turning it onto paper.

WFR's ideas for the colors seemed a bit too idol like with the heavy gold saturation so I mixed something of a brass or copper into the colors to make it both more dynamic and easier on the eyes.
