I must say, these abstract animals are fun to do! Anyway, my abstract interpretation of the Great Horned Owl.Just to inform everyone this is not my usual style, in fact it's probably as far as you can get from my more realistic pieces. I think some people are a little confused.

I think I just died a little bit...no joke this is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. It's just so....it's....like if this was a tattoo on someone, and it was visible I would spend all day stalking them just to take it in. I absolutely L.O.V.E every little detail put into this. My mind can't even wrap around the fact that you did it all with just a ballpoint pen. Sososososo much respect and love for your talent. This is the definition of gorgeous work. -dies-

Aww good to hear! It's honestly bizarre to know that we're the same age and you're doing stuff like this. It's going to be so cool to where your art takes you in the future. And ahhh I was totally not diss-ing the mighty pen! Trust me, I can't draw eyes unless I have old office ball points. It's just amazing to see how dynamic you were able to make the drawing with just that. Eww and are we going to get to see this tattoo when it's finished. It'll probably take a few sessions, but I would die to be able to see it in the works! I'm sure it'll be as epic as the original! Much love from the States.

This is so beautiful and intricate: I love how the lines flow into and around each other, forming what looks like armor plates but is recognizable as a bird's visage. +Fave.

This is really wonderful! I adore the different patterns and how unique they all are. They go together very well and, even though they're fairly abstract, they still give the feel of the feathers of the owl. I really, really love how you did the eyes as well! I feel like that's the first thing you see, and then from there you notice all the intricate patterns and such. Really great work! Congrats on your DD, it was very much deserved!
