Description
So I managed to get more Pokémon done! Thank goodness for the holidays.
Here's Chespin and co. I based Chespin off of a Chipmunk/Chestnut.
Quilladin was based on a Hedgehog/Chestnut/Armadillo.
And the big guy Chesnaught was based on Armadillos and their relatives the Glyptodon and the Giant Ground Sloth .
I thought those animals really accentuated the long arms and claws that Chesnaught has plus that characteristic armour. There was no way I was going to make it some hot, anthro furry with knight's armour. I imagine a lot of plant matter would grow on the shell and fur of Chesnaught (like on sloths) but I couldn't be bothered adding that in.

It look amazing! Only issue is, however, the scales make Chesnaught look more like a Steel/Dragon type.

The scales are based on a Glyptodon, I guess more animals than just dragons have scales. But I see where you're coming from.

What a glorious interpretation! Man this is just perfect! Those claws are going to wreck. Not only did you think about his design as a believable creature, but also keeping in mind what abilities, attacks and stats Chesnaught has.

I always knew Chesnaught was awesome. You see, this is always how I saw Chesnaught and the others, even if my friends just saw a soft chipmunk or armadillo. Thanks, now I can prove my friends just how wrong they were.

I tried doodling realistic pokemon during lunch and ended up with almost the exact same depictions of chesnaught, and delphox. For greninja the only real difference was that I played its "ears" off as salamander like gills
