Orighty so as promised here's Fennekin and co. I suppose I should go through my inspiration for their designs.
Fennekin = Fennec Fox. Big surprise there.
Braxien was a little bit more difficult. Decided a Fennec Fox and Red Fox hybrid looked a bit cooler. I also made it semi bipedal and gave it a pseduo-thumb to hold its wand, just like Pandas! (Gawd, I really wanted to avoid making furry, anthro hands.)
Delphox was essentially the same; Red Fox and Fennec Fox mixed in with the Maned Wolf (not a wolf at all) and fur inspired by Collie dog breeds. Accentuated the pesudo thumb; this Delphox can walk upright and on all fours.
Anyway that's really all. It's nearly 2 am. I should really get back to drawing more original things but I just love drawing Pokémon so much. As usual, my other realistic Pocketmanz are here.

How is it surprising? It has Fennec in the name, large ears and is a fire type? No other fox species suits it better.

I know the games are for children and it would probably scare them right out of their skin but I sometimes wish they would make their creatures a bit more detailed and realistic and abandon the super-cutie-pink-scrap-of-something-designs they apply now...

I wished you did more human-shape Pokemon, as they're some of my favorites. Like the Machop family, Abra family, Jynx, Electabuzz, and Magmar families, Throh, Sawk, and the Ralts family!
I'd PAY you to make some bad-ass realistic human-shape Pokemon! That looked accurate to the Pokemon and weren't just realistic humans in Pokemon costumes.

I'm not a huge fan of humanoid Pokémon, but they'd be easy enough to tackle I think. I do have Alazkazam and Gardevoir lined up in the future, so I will tackle those. I guess it's mostly about avoiding the uncanny valley effect as much as possible.
