Description This is my present for , both has a birthday present for her character Roamwald and as a congratulations gift for her trip to Spain

Now a few warnings:
- First I know the design is crap but that's because I focused more on the functionality than in its good looks
- Second, the values are based on golden ratios (many of which I had to figure out for myself, so they're not 100% accurate), so it gives the ideal measurements for that body size
- Third, there's not going to be an alpha version unless there's enough popular demand. But comments that just say "I want a better version" will be ignored. I need suggestions on what YOU want to show up in a (possible) complete version and I need opinions on what should be fixed in the current one (minus design). Also any help with the ratios and equations is most welcome because they were a pain to dig up Xp
- Forth and final, many thanks to everyone who helped me with this. Couldn't do it without you XD

Finally, how to use this:
- Introduce the values on the boxes with black font
- Move the slider around to reach the value you want
- Have fun

NOTE: Keep in mind the calculations are metric. You can calculate either in meters or in inches, but not in feet + inches

Edit: With all the hurry I made a mistake in the weight calculation. If you spot any mistakes please let me know asap

I'd like the ability to type in the ratio I want to use, like if I want to size up something to 1.2x bigger or 1.5x bigger I can't do that. The slider bar thing is nice but it doesn't give you enough options.

I wish there was a size converter like this but with the size of a human versus the size of certain buildings.

Heh, I just realized it doesn't get as tall as the Statue of Liberty. This is a very useful tool.

It took me awhile to get used to the whole metrics deal, but now I get it. This really helps!

I suck because I don't get it D: is it a keep in proportions tool?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

resizer In reply to TheRWG [2009-03-07 21:13:15 +0000 UTC]

YEah, the proportions stay exactly the same. The only thing that changes are the measurements depending on the scale

Can you please tell me how to do the whole "opposite perspective" thing? Like the equation for it in terms of two people's height. Love the flash, though! Must've been hard to make. I'd like it more if the slider didn't lock onto 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, etc. (Like more fluid)

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

resizer In reply to giantp [2009-01-29 02:09:39 +0000 UTC]

The opposite perspective are just the stats the other individual would experience. For example if your target is a giant then the opposite perspective would be the sizes he would be seeing from his point of view (aka how the tiny would look to him)

Not really, it was a lot worse trying to figure out the ratios Xp

I'll keep that in mind for the alpha. Thanks ^^

I know that, but I need the math. Math is not my forte.

resizer In reply to giantp [2009-02-03 04:39:58 +0000 UTC]

How should I put this...... *doesn't know how to explain math in english*

For example we have someone with height H, weight W and he would be x2 larger than a regular person
We know from the smaller point of view he'd be H x 2 tall (linear) and W x 2 x 2 x 2 heavier (volumetric)
But from his point of view a regular person would be H / 2 tall and W / 2 / 2 / 2 heavy

Basically all I did was several linear and volumetric calculations (you could do areas as well)

Clear enough?

Out of curiosity, what do you need them for?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

giantp In reply to resizer [2009-02-04 01:15:47 +0000 UTC]

Oh, I just wanted to calculate specific size changes, not in increments of halves like in the Converter Tool. Also, Macro Stat doesn't have that ability.

resizer In reply to giantp [2009-02-04 01:30:53 +0000 UTC]

I see

I have to try and start making an alpha size converter as soon as I get some major stuff out of the way

👍: 0 ⏩: 0

giantp [2009-01-19 17:23:11 +0000 UTC]

You should totally make an alpha. You should be able to pick which measurement (m, ft, in, ft+in)
you want to use, and there should be a ruler in the background (like in criminal mugshots). I like this tool more than Macrostat! It just needs a few more features.

But I'm really happy you find it helpful. And happy birthday Roamwald XDD
