Description
I know this is a silly name but it kind of works... kind of.Anyway This was rendered in Poser Pro 2012.. I tried Reality but as usual couldn't get it looking this good. I used DOF in poser instead of painting it which looks better and modelled everything in the background in SILO.
The outfit it by Hongyu over at Renderosity and the glasses are by me! you can get them by buying Alita over at Renderosity [link]

Gorgeous work! Her reflections in the glasses in the background just adds a lot of depth!

Nice render.
I understand about Reality 3 failing to come up to expectations... bought a copy and then rendered the same scene in Poser Pro 2012 with IDL [link] and then in Poser Pro with Reality 3 [link]
The Firefly render took about 25 minutes... the Reality 3 / Lux Render was given 16 hours or so... The defects of the Lux render are pretty obvious... Poser Shader nodes do not come across [the walls and 'altar' and the skin wetness] and the lighting is 'dim' in the Lux render.../
The Firefly lighting rig [A single point light] was insufficient for the Reality / Lux render...
As for the Reality 3 user interface... I almost like Pose2Lux [the free Poser Lux python script] better...

Yeah, it is a little disappointing.. having to alter all the materials again in reality then wait that amount of time isn't really worth it in my opinion.
Glad you liked this though.

Octane has a similar challenge... in that, as I understand it, Poser has a different whay of handling textures and therefore requires you to change them as well... since software like this is 'specialty' it will always be the case that interchangeability is difficult...
BTW Poser 10 / Poser Pro 2014 is released in 11 days... got some interesting stuff added [tho' full GPU render is not one of them...]

Yeah, I was hoping that Reality was able to figure it out for you as technically that is what the plugin is for.
I have seen Poer 10/2014 it looks great although the upgrade price is too expensive for me right now. I love the fact they have Bullet physics now though

This is really impressive work ... I appreciate the expertise that went into the modeling and the render, in totality, is awesome.
