Description Base colors laid for

Tweaked a thing here and there. Main thing left as far as simple colors go is the pattern on the skirt. I wish it wasn't taking me so long to finish!

Timelapse will probably be folded in with the next steps as I can't imagine it being very interesting at the moment.

I'm really wanting to one-up both of my previous attempts at the character:

OoO Great choice of colors! Though I would like to say it looks flat and move on, I know it's a base color WIP. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/>

Here is a list of things you can improve on:

- You should the elbow up little higher so the pose looks more natural. Believe me, I had tried the pose to test my theory out. And it's proven correct.

- It looks like that she's just fallen from the sky and landed in a super cool way! The cross chain and the eyepatch are reacting to the motion but what about her clothing. It looks glued to her body for some reason. :/

Hope this helps! ^_^

Ok. Two things i have to say. Firstly. I love this anime. The concept, the characters and humor about it. Secondly, this drawing is well done. It captures everything about Rikka. Even the yellow eye under the eye bandage (Or whatever it's called. Lol). Anyways... this drawing is really cute and everything about it looks awesome. However, i would like to say one thing. Maybe try adding a little shading? The character looks perfectly fine, but how about adding a few strokes of darker color to make it less cartoon-ish? Other than that, this is pretty awesome and i hope the creator keeps up the good work. 9/10. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/>

Thanks for the kind words! I like the show a lot too, so I'm happy that you think I did justice to the character. This picture is just a WIP and I'm currently doing the shading and background. Watch me for more progress?

I am from ProjectComment 's give one get one gallery.

This is really impressive and I looked at the finished version and it looks really amazing and very well done.  It looks like it could be from an anime movie!  The only things I see that look a bit off are the eye patch and her wrist.  I'll start with the eye patch since it's a smaller problem.  So, based on the picture I assume she tore her eye patch of, threw it, and then posed (using the same hand for all of it).  Her eye patch seems like it would be either further away from her, or closer to the ground, because in the time it would take her to put her hand by her face it would have moved more.  And likely when she released it from her hand it would have been further away from her.  The more obvious thing is the wrist of the hand grabbing the gun, or maybe it's part of the hand.  It looks like the hand comes out of the sleeve, bends, but then it's like the wrist goes a bit more and then it's the hand... that or the thumb on the hand is too far up.  Either way it looks a bit strange.  It could be that the sleeve is pushed back on that side and the angle of the arm just makes it look like there's a bend (when there's just a bit of a curve) and I'm not seeing it.  If that's the case then I'd suggest maybe making the sleeve a little bit shorter on that side or add a wrinkle so it's clearer.  This is a really cool drawing though, and you did an awesome job!  She looks very tough and her expression is great.  Her clothes seem to fit right and her body seems to be in a natural position.

Haha yeah, the eye patch isn't really in a logical place, but it looks cool and that's really what matters haha. Team Rocket clothes physics.

And I will agree that there's definitely some issue with that wrist... It more curves when it really should bend. I messed with it a little bit along the way to show off the bandage more. Personally I don't find it so garrish that it's distracting, but I can understand not being able to unsee it. I need people like you around to call my crap so I have to improve instead of sweeping it under the rug!

Thanks for checking out the picture! (The finished version is up in my gallery, but sadly it still has a mild case of noodle arm)
