The drawing here is what I'd consider a "final draft" but the "finished drawing" is what I put on the watercolor paper and eventually paint over. In essence I do make the same drawing twice although the finished drawing has a lot more detail than the draft seen here. It is a lot of work and no I don't project the drawing (I use a lightbox to make the transfer) but I feel taht the extended time spent with the drawing allows me to see things I wouldn't normally see if just delving on on the first drawing. In my opinion it also helps tighten my drawing so the painting is more believable.

well well It was a sooo long ago when I was-I guess-five
Me and my family want to my youngest uncle"I don't know the damn speel" we were on a trip I can clearly rember that day I wanted to buy a cat as a pet and my folks got very mad about it and for a small taest of punishment my dad beat me hardly and they all left me alone in the house and went to a park/I felt a lot of pain and felt very sad/I knew I cried alot then fell asleep I didn't know the time when I woke up and went to the bath There I saw lots of glassy beautiful things I wanted to play whith But I knew they wont let me so I stole two of them and put them in my panthy/panty? after that I heard something behind the thick cloth that really scared me so I went through a cabinet which was under the mirror and then I saw something like this I think it was my uncle and his wife I guess

Wow - thanks for sharing that. What a richly detailed story you've painted. How sad that you were punished for wanting a cat. And I can totally picture you hiding the glass in your panties - I might have to put that into a painting one day! Thank you so much for sharing.
