Just so you lot know I haven't forgotten about these things, here's a quick update on how much progress I've made.
If it looks like "not allot" that'd be a fair assessment. Not for lack of effort mind, but for some reason I can't quit get the knack of shading fur in a way I think looks good, so I've scrubbed and stared over many many times and still no joy! Put it this way, I usually wander off and do a quick character design as a way to unwind after a frustrating colouring session and...well...just look at how many of those I've been kicking out lately.
So for now I'm gonna shelve Hank here and move on to some of the other, less furry characters and hopefull by the end of it I'll have figured out how to crack the problem or found a good tutorial.
