YES I drew them both with necks. After drawing in my anthro style for over a year I find characters without necks to be exceedingly awkward to do. Give me a break XP

Holy crap I just realized I bent the dark purple tips on Blaze's hair in the wrong direction X_X It's supposed to arc up and in, not down and out. Whoops ^.^;

A little Art Trade with

Recently I got her into liking KnuxAmy, and so she asked if I'd do something Sonaze or her in return for her doing something KnuxAmy for me. lol easy trade. I've needed to do something for Sonic and Blaze for awhile, especially since I run the fan club XD

Anyway, I had the ending of Final Fantasy X-2 on my mind when I did this. Tidus comes back in the end (for good this time) and Yuna worries he might disappear again. His reply to her comes with a smile.

"Cherish me Yuna, and I'll cherish you. Alright? We've gotta stay together. That's what we have to do."

I scribbled the last half of that down once I finished the sketch. It kinda fits Sonic and Blaze...Sonic isn't a dream or anything like Tidus was, but he and Blaze are fleeting parts of each other's lives, so whenever they can't be together, cherishing what they have is what keeps them bonded, no matter the distance.

But yeah, the day will come when dimensions can be crossed and they'll never be apart again <3 of course, in the world of fiction, that can already be the case, and for Sonaze fans, it always is XD Who'd wanna keep these two apart? <3

Umm, the hands were added as an afterthought...not quite happy with them. I almost cut them out, but didn't, especially when you can see them each wearing a ring
