Freaking spoilers here for the first major war of WoLaD. This is a spoiler for the final conflict of that story, so enjoy it.

Anyway, Knuckles is Sutei-Midoka's descendant, and Amy is Amarie's descendant. So, together these two are supposed to embody the Pure Light so the heroes can stand a chance against Mukot.

Problem...not even Shadow knows how it is supposed to work. Even bigger of a problem: Knuckles and Amy don't like each other AT ALL to start.

Yep. In my story Amy starts out pretty much like we all know her; liking Sonic. Only...her entire character isn't based around chasing him like an obsessed fan girl. She thinks Knuckles is rude and rather dumb, while he thinks she's annoying and stupid for chasing Sonic. So, they refuse to get along.

But conflict comes whether they like it or not. Mukot has been hunting Amy down for ages, unable to find her as Shadow took steps to keep her hidden. He finds her at last, and decides it will be easier to kill her than Knuckles, eliminating his only threat. The climax of the battle comes when Amy is badly injured in the fight, and Knuckles, who was beginning to understand her better as she does him over the course of the story, is horrified. He doesn't know what he can do, but while Mukot gloats, ready to land the final blow, Knuckles says what he does here while he holds her. He knows it probably won't do any good, but says it anyway.

Instead of doing nothing however, a powerful Light envelopes them both, unleashing a wave of energy that consumes Mukot, weakening him significantly to the point where he can no longer fight. As he curses it, it's pretty obvious that the power of the Pure Light was the cause, as it's the only thing that can devastate him that terribly.

The only problem is Shadow is uncertain how they will be able to trigger it in the future.

At any rate, it ends the fighting between Knuckles and Amy, and while they aren't exactly head over heels in love yet, they're willing to give it a try.

But yeah, has this idea last night and I honestly don't care if I spoil the story anymore. No one reads it! XD

There are hiccups with this picture; the only thing that bothers me are Amy's arms. They're supposed to be bent, but that doesn't show strong enough so they look kinda short. And yes, I drew them both with necks...I can't stand not having necks anymore XD

Oh, and nobody try to be clever and say that Knuckles is the one that did it to her. You're not cute, or clever >.>; You're just ignorant.

But yeah, enjoy <3
