Okay, the idea behind this one was a bit simpler, but still awesome ^^

For those who don't know, I'm drawing pictures based on Hanson songs. Hanson is my all-time fave band, one I will love until I die, and then beyond that in the afterlife. They've inspired me more than anything in my life, and so I decided to draw pictures based on their songs, 80 of them. They've written many more than this, but for now I have it at the 80 I have available to me. (the rest are kinda hard to track down)

Anyway, this song is off their album "Underneath" their first Indie album since "Boomerang" and "Mmmbop" (let's just say the record label that produced "Middle of Nowhere" and "This Time Around" sucks like hell and so they decided to keep going on their own record label called 3CG Records) Hanson rocks...they're pouring their own money into all this. Bless them.

Anyway, chewing over ideas one day I thought, "Well, any character that can fly or levitate would be perfect for this song." Then, BAM! It hit me. My second fave couple, (the second of my faves that is, they have no order, even if KnuxAmy is my top fave...not by much), Shadow and Rouge, can both fly in some form! Shadow has those rocket shoes of his, and Rouge can fly because, well, she's a bat and has wings, lawl.

I could see them walking together one evening, hand in hand of course, then a brisk wind blows by them and gets stronger and stronger. Finally, with a smile he only shows Rouge, Shadow takes her hand and pulls her into the sky, and as they fly they dance together in the wind.

It's a pretty simple idea...doesn't demand that much explaining, but it's a pretty one nonetheless ^^

This is my first time drawing Rouge in her regular outfit, and my second time drawing her in general, so I know she's not perfect. Still, I'm pretty happy with how she came out. Shadow would have been perfect but stupid here forgot the red stripes on his arms and legs ><; So pissed. Oh well, I was drawing them both from memory while in the car, and inked it in the car as well, and by the time I was coloring him and realized my mistake it was too late to fix it. Blah...

Besides that I love the picture ^^ ShadowxRouge forever!
