Batman felt the cold viscous slime drip down his body, very quickly sealing him up in a coating of the stuff. It pulled on him tightly, yet he could breathe through it. He let out a muffled moan. No, he couldn’t speak through it. It was heavy, and it stayed cold and wet even after sitting on his warm body. He wondered how he looked on the outside. Like some sort of faceless mannequin, slightly moving and pulling in his tight encasing prison. Every time he moved it sounded like the biggest wad of chewing gum being chewed, like a loud clap every time it settled and then was stretched out. The worst part was the dials were only set to their thinnest coating.

Flash had it worse though. He was lower down and already in an uncomfortable position, and the heavy gloop covering him only made it worse. He felt like he was going to sink into it like quicksand, never to be seen again. He let out a lot of angry, muffled moans. He knew how ridiculous he looked, and the Trickster’s laughs were taunting him. He wanted to just run away, but he couldn’t. Any time he pulled, the glue snapped him back in place.

this wasn’t the end of the heroes’ humiliation though. With a turn of a dial on a remote, the dials on the tubes flicked round, and the tubes opened once more.
