Eighteen years ago, Echo (the blonde girl, not her actual name) was born in an old aristocrat family. Being a noble, she was taught about "noblesse oblige", the inferred responsibility of privileged people to act with generosity and nobility toward those less privileged, since early age. When she's ten years old, she was involved in an accident which cause brain injury and ruptured eardrums, causing almost total hearing loss and slipped into comatose. Her parents signed to an experimental treatment. The treatment was successful in healing the brain injury and waking her up from a coma, but her hearing would never back, and she had to wear hearing aid from then on. As a girl from aristocrat family coupled with disability, this cause her to get special treatment everywhere, and she never felt even more alone, especially when she realized that the experimental treatment has caused her to gained enhanced intelligence: she can retain so much information, intuitively look for pattern in number, text, and graphs, and even rebuild her hearing aids into the shape of cat ears (because why not?) from common household items. Never before she felt like an outcast.

To lift up his spirit, Echo's parents adopted an orphan girl around the same age as her, Cupid (the red-haired girl, also not her actual name). She's a cheerful girl, really contrast to Echo's sweet and noble attitude, but most importantly, she didn't treat echo as "Milady", but as a sister. This quickly recover Echo's spirit. Their bond became even stronger, when Cupid revealed that she have abilities. Cupid never knew her real parents, or the circumstance of her birth. What she knew though, was that she was born with ability to gather, shaped, and harden the particle of dust in the air. She also have enhanced sensory: she can see so far even in dim lighting, able to differentiate sounds with accuracy, have a heightened sense of smell, and very very sensitive touch sense that she can feel the dust in the air. Combined these abilities with archery that she learnt in orphanage, she has became an expert markswoman with unlimited arrow. The realization that both of them are different, making their sisterly bond even stronger.

Around the same time as Echo's birth, Minerva (the black-haired girl; not her actual name either) was born with enhanced agility and reflex due to her mother being irradiated with unknown radioactive ray during pregnancies. Her abilities was at first attributed to her being athletic; but the more she grown up, the more she realized the she was different with the other kids. Her parents realized it too, and at first forbid her to honed her talents, due to concern of her safety. However, she insisted. She self-taught how to shoot, sword-fighting, martial arts, and everything that involve her agility and reflex, without her parents knowledge (Yay Youtube!), with growing belief in truth and justice.

In high school, Echo and Cupid witnessed how Minerva, who at this time still keeping up an image of an honor student, beat up a bully behind the school, scarring those bullies and threaten them not to talk to anyone. Echo and Cupid quickly realized that Minerva was different too, and tried to befriend her. However, Minerva didn't want the sisters to be involved in such extra-judicial activities, and tried to dismissed them. They were insisted, and despite her hesitant, the three quickly getting close. However, Minerva still keeping Echo and Cupid at arm length and didn't involved them in her own vigilantism.

This change when one day, Minerva's father was shot to death in a gang shoutout. Loss in grief, Minerva picked up her sword and her father's gun, and tried to attack the gang HQ in the outskirt of The City. However, she was overwhelmed; and have to retreat and call Echo for help. When Echo and Cupid arrived to the park where Minerva was hiding, they found her bloodied, injured, while crying her heart out in grief of her father.

They gave her first aid, but the gang had picked up Minerva's trail and start shooting at them. However, Minerva wasn't fighting alone. Cupid produced her infinite arrows, and with a makeshift bow made by Echo, gave Minerva a highly accurate long-range support. Meanwhile, Echo kept creating makeshift weapon like electric baton and even molotov and pipebomb to throw at the attacker. In the end, all three of them successfully repel the attacker, jumpstart a nearby car, and escape to Echo's house.

They tended each other wound, and at last, arrived to the same conclusion that they can use their abilities to protect other people, if they stay together and help each other. They agreed to this, and each of them took a codename to use during their "extracurricular" activities: Minerva, Echo, and Cupid. Echo provide them with equipment, including unmarked guns for Minerva, a bow for Cupid, and Laser Gun for herself (again, because why not). Minerva decided to use her sword too as main weapon. And all three of them wear kevlar suit designed by themselves to their liking.

And from that day on, The City just welcomed a new group of superheroines. Not as experienced as the other established superheroines, but with the same passion to protect the people of The City.
