Yes, very interesting. But I have no idea on the relationship of the species. This is one of my least favorite photos. It was taken at night, under artificial (patio) light, didn't work too well for me. It was the only one I could get, though, until my freakin' batteries died!!! Grr!!

I had a case like this a couple of weeks ago out at Bolen with Circemoon ( [link] ). I just couldn't get the camera to lock on and ended up with a few rough shots. A couple of them cleaned up moderately, for online viewing at least. But they won't print worth a damn. Still, they're my official cottonmouth photos as of now...! Until I happen upon some fresh subjects!
