Coleonyx variegatus variegatus - Desert Banded GeckoKern County, CA
A sequel to the original, Wild Gecko .
Minor alterations accomplished through Photoshop CS, taken under natural sunlight at mid-day. One of my fav. native lizards of my home state.

lovely little guy.....looks like he lost his tail and grew it back. i never really cared for geckos. i mean as pets. they're so soft and fragile.

I found him on one of my trips field herping, decided to keep him, he looks almost like a gummy treat! I named him GUMBY.
