Description FINALLY THIS IS DONE.

I originally drew this with colors, but the colors were so clashing you couldn't tell what was happening. So I redrew THE WHOLE THING and avoided using any colors other than the glowy bits and purity seals.

So have a Tech Priest assembling a rifle.
And this Tech Priest is me. Expect more of this design.

I think even if this is science fiction you are making this more complicated than it needs to be brother.  It is a rifle that goes pew-pew-pew. It is not a Mass Effect weapon.

I shall have you know that this is an Ion focused, energy projection device that bursts light on an atomic scale at speeds over 1500 mph, burning on contact with solid matter at a temperature of over 4200 degrees Fahrenheit without overheating the device or melting down the core.

It is a very delicate weapon indeed.

It sounds like you are trying to put in a whole nuclear plant into a gun!  Don't do Star Trek.  Do Star Wars.  Just have the weapon and don't go into such insane detail.  Otherwise it makes it more clear how utterly impossible it is!

>->  Hint HINT all you shitty science fiction films of actually great science fiction things!  DUNE, Valerian, current Star Wars, and whatever the hell Juniper Rising was.

I severely hope you aren't praising the current Star Wars for its science fiction aspects.
Because they make zero sense.

I make my science fiction realistic. And if we're talking about realistic energy weapons, they would be incredibly powerful and very expensive to make.

I just put it in the bad sci-fi bundle.

Not to mention impossible.  Since last I checked plasma burns everything and lasers never stop.

Lasers indeed practically never stop, especially since they travel at the speed of light.
And plasma? I'm still new to their design, but it stands to reason that weaponized plasma is incredibly dangerous.

But nothing is as dangerous as an object traveling at the speed of light. As the OMG particle has shown us.

"That is why you check your targeting computer! That is why you wait for a solid lock on! That is why you only fire when you KNOW you are going to hit"!

What is the OMG particle?

Also.  Yeah anything that is FTL will obliterate everything and the color.  But ntil then.  I guess we will just have to settle for a tunstone spear being dropped from space.  Because who doesn't want to have a satellite that can turn a whole country into a new ocean space?! ece

"This is why we do not 'fire from the hip' like damn space cowboys!!!"

The OMG particle (appropriately named by the way, yes that is in fact a OH MY GOD PARTICLE) is a particle that was observed traveling through space at the speed of less than a quarter the speed of light. It finally came into contact with a celestial object and made a crater the size of a baseball.

So this is something that is literally a particle- something SO SMALL you cannot see it without a microscope set on very high magnifications, that was traveling less than a QUARTER of the Speed of Light, and it made a impression the size of a baseball.
Scientists theorize that if we had something like a space shuttle traveling at the speed of light or FTL, and it crashed into something like a solid planet, it would not only completely reduce the planet into NOTHING, but all the molten debris and left over material made from the impact would be pulled in by the gravitational pull of nearby celestial objects in the solar system such as the sun, and would GLASS the surface of any celestial objects they come in contact with, effectively destroying the entire solar system.

So to put it in basic terms, making something that reached the speed of light would end up creating the SINGLE MOST DESTRUCTIVE FORCE IN THE UNIVERSE. If we actually made something like this, it would literally change how warfare is waged. Because all you need is one object that travels at that speed, and then come up with a list of demands.
This is why Old Star Wars (the only star wars that exists in my book) didn't have ships just going super fast. Light Speed was actually ships going through another dimension and popping out the other side. Warhammer 40K does the same.

Welcome to the Warhammer 40K art style.
It's perfect for my style of excessive detail.

More decoration. I got thrusters on the back, but what imperial doesn't dream of having good old fashioned angel wings?

But you should also know that if my none flapping wings makes me a pretty bird, there's also the mechanical octopus arms, the extra mechanical arms on my actual arms and back, the large thrusters making me a jet, the skull plate, Force Scythe, heavy caliber long range weapon, servo arm attacked computer screen, servo arm attached Heavy Shell gun, the Raptor like talons on my feet, flowy robes, many eyes in a 360 spectrum, sharp spring loaded claws, Samurai inspired crest and armor, and of course the mandibles.

So with all that stuff, what would my name even be?
