Assimulating Humans has unforseen side effects.I Just really like the Pun "Seven of Eleven" So this is my 'Ode to 7of11' and a gift for all the chuckles he's provided.
This was Not easy to pull off. The Borg simply do not understand Puns or the Convienience of 24 hour nutrition and materiels availability when one does not have a replicator. So talking them into this joke took some fast talking.

Oh, Yes......
Sadly too. Like Japan for example. They work SO hard to be like the US, And the US Polititions and Wealthy think they SHOULD be like us. That no one really sees what they are loosing until it is gone. Or what a bunch of useless Junk they lost it for.... I am speaking of Culture and Traditions and Racial Identity here.
This applies to your fair Islands as well. I get into alot of arguments here sticking up for the Middle Eastern Cultures RIGHT to treat their children and women and families as they want to. For everyones right NOT to accept the Euro-American ideals of how they should all act and live. But my words fall on Dumb Ears here. Americans, for the most part, are not able to look at any situation or culture from any position except thier own. They just cannot understand that our way very well may NOT be the right way of doing things.... Sad.
Sorry for the Diatribe Amigo. But though the humor was the main thrust of the piece. it also was my way of calling American Capitalism and Culture an Infectious disease

Nnnn... I don't know about the culture issue. The thing is, before Spain came we were a hundred fragmented tribes(some are even cannibals). ^_^ So in a sense we don't have one solid "culture". Sure we were once part of the "Sri Visayans Empire" but we're just like Tatooine, so far from the central power.
Our "mainstream" culture and traditions came from China, India and as we used to call her 120 yrs ago "Mother Spain". 
If you really look at it, we don't have a really "solid" Racial Identity. Not unlike our neighbors. Like it or not we are americanized. But in such a bad way.
Hell, we copied your constitution.

To explain. It is about absorbing, or taking from another culture, Often you get the bad along with what you think of as good. That is the hidden message. And a bit of a joke.

Mal-Mart from dimension 742 has been a thorn in the Collective's side. They even put copies of Borghunt on their store's shelves. Too many drones have been needlessly lost trying to buy items.
Now that would be an interesting picture, combining Hellgate:London+Wal-Mart = Hell-Mart. Imagine a hellish store, something like Silent Hill but with aisles and discounts. Would need someone with 3d skills to do it (hint, hint).
Could go the Celebrity route: Silent Hill 6: Paris's Torment. Imagine the horror of shopping and nothing matches or acessorizes! They sell small dogs too but they drip and ooze. Oh yeah, they don't take plastic, have to use dirty paper bills.

If you have spare bucks burning a hole in your pocket, can check out some of the more expensive 3d apps.
Lightwave, Maya/3ds max, Nendo, Softimage, Cinema 4d, etc.
Zbrush is an interesting app, you can make a mesh in another app and load it into Zbrush and add details to it. Its like drawing in 3d.
Metaballs are special 3d primitives that act like mercury.
There is a attractive force around each metaball that attracts other metaballs, put one near another and they form a bridge between themselves.
I like working with them because its easier to make irregular organic shapes. Truespace 6.5 has 6 different types of metaball primitives. Lightwave just has the spherical one and if you use too many, the metaballs start to lose their attraction. Its just a specialty item, does not remove the need to know how to model the other ways.
