Even though it's a photo... the way the lighting is set up and the pose you have gives me the impression that he's coming towards me. I can just see the movement of it. Very nicely done. I also like how the focus of lighting is based mainly on the skull.

Thank you!
One of my goals in this photography project was to give the subjects life and personality. I'm glad that he appears to be alive and in motion to you.

You've definately won me over to the skull side. I love the way the nasal cavity looks. It's hard to believe there's such a complex space inside our face.

Heee. Sweeeeeeet. One more for the dark side.
You'll be seeing lots and lots of skeletons and skulls as a bio major, so you'll either become obsessed (like me and ) or thoroughly sick of them.
Ahhh yes, the nasal turbinates. My favorite structure in the skull. Isn't it amazing how highly enfolded and delicate-looking those are?

Long exposure time and a flashlight as my only lightsource are the ingredients that went into this recipe.
Glad you like it.

Thanks!
Nope, not a big cat, just an ordinary domestic cat skeleton. I would love to have the chance to photograph a lion or tiger skeleton like this, though... That would be awesome.

ooh! one of my friends got an iguana stuck in her fence, unfortunately it died. i'm waiting for the ants to pick it clean, are you interested in the skeleton?

neato! right now it's still really fleshy, so you might have to wait ....out of curiousity, how would i get it to you? do i take it apart and put it in a box because it's a nice sized iguana...at least 3ft. long, it wouldn't fit if it was still in one peice.

3 ft? Whoah! Big iguana--cool!
Take your time--I'm totally thrilled that you would offer that to me.
You'll probably have to take him apart--maybe at the base of the tail, where it joins the pelvis, and the neck where it meets the shoulder blades. That should make him a bit smaller and easier to pack. Bubble wrap is a good idea too.
I would love to draw a portrait of your Capi in exchange for all of this. What do you think?

i'll send you a note when the iguana is ready to be sent asking for your adress so i can ship it

The last thing Mus Musculus sees. The theory behind that is what keeps me out of the Arroyo. I don't want to be a meal! Let the torrent of college photos be unleashed!! Great stuff!

Pulsing squirts would be OK by me, , just keep 'em cumming. And didn't you know about the miles of little polyethylene air lines underneath the leaf bed? Little puffs of air keep sylvan denizens in stitches for days!

Thanks, baby. It's not really gonna be a torrent... More like a trickle... or something. A rivulet?
I'm telling you, every time I heard the leaves rustle when we were hiking, I froze up a little. Goddamn lizards!
