This doesn't look very good considering all the time that went into it
also please ignore the awful layout and typography on this ref |D I've been struggling to stay out of an impending art block recently, and WildfireWhim suggested I a) draw with a different medium and b) draw a subject other than cats. So, I decided to pull out my fineliners and doodle up the Wings of Fire OC I bought from Drawgonite ! Dragons are really tough for me to draw digitally simply because they take ages, so it was nice to be able to draw out this gal traditionally and colour her digitally! Next up I'll draw the Sky/Nightwing I got from AurorasAdoptables !

It's a nice design. I like how you included a little bit about her, but you didn't finish it. Most of what I look for in oc's are how well thought they are. I reccomend finishing her layout in the description! >u0

Seriously, she looks awesome, even if a little too complex. Glad you could expand your horizons with drawing dragons too! (although, agreed, they do take a while. Especially WoF dragons with all the scales UGH)

Haha yeah! Drawgonite makes some pretty rad designs! I'm a sucker for pastel palettes, especially if there's orange or pink!
Thanks! I still have to work on settling for a good WoF dragon style, I'm not used to drawing dragons with scales tbh. Hopefully with a little practice it'll get easier! Scales take waay too long for me to draw.

I love pastels too, but I almost never use them in my designs. Need to get on that. XD
And hopefully you'll find that style you can stick with! I hate drawing scales on dragons as well, so maybe you can find some sort of stylistic compromise with the official designs and your own preferences.

Use linearts to make your characters, but still practice your dragon drawing skills
Btw WoF linearts are kinda hard to find but if u want I can tell u some people that sorta make linearts
