yeah i mean once you get on a decent level with drawing you don't do construction on everything anymore, you just draw
i still construct heads and bodies, but thats it

Photoshop isn't free, it's quite expensive. GIMP however is pretty similar- even preferred by some artists and is free. [link]

How big do you usually work and what size brush do you use for lineart?

oh my, sorry it took me so long to answer xD i usually work in 3000x3000px canvas with 300dpi (: for lineart... idk, it always depends (: it says around x1.0 (i honestly don't know what is that xD )
