Someone asked me to make a quick lineart tutorial, and i thought why not (:I use PaintTool SAI, for those of you who doesn't know

everything just makes sense. it was easy to follow. good god, my art professor did not help me whatsoever when we talked about variation of line. he made it SO GODDAMN COMPLICATED. so this was great. kudos man!

Do you know a good brush for lineart in PS (cs6)?

I've got to ask, what are your canvas settings? When I zoom in to do line art the drawing gets blurry and it sucks lol.

How long would you estimate it takes you to do a fully colored piece, and do you try to do it all in one go, or break it down over days?

It all depends on the complexity of a drawing. I think i can finish a full body drawing of one person without background in 12 hours (maybe faster). But usually i can't sit still for 12 hours straight, so i break my drawing process (: but i try not to make long breaks, cause i'm afraid of loosing my interest in a piece i'm working on.

But now I have really a question:

How you made it in detail? I mean the lines aren't only "thicker", the thickness seams to be only in the middle part of the line. You know what I mean? How you made this? Is it the brush?

Hm, well that's how pressure settings work for every tablet, and i just make more strokes in that part of the line, which i want to be thicker (:
