I did this about 6 months ago while on summer break.

This was derived from from United States Seal [link] I had pretty grim outlook for the future of my country. The eagle shot by one of it's own silver arrows fallen on a bed of olive branches as a ribbon stating "Deo fidimus" (which is the closest latin translation I could find of "In God we trust") falls from it's talons. Dramatic no?

Side notes, I realize that the "eagle" looks a lot more like a falcon, my bad. I didn't plan this out, I just wanted to draw a freak'n bird and then I was like 'hm this could be symbolic" so don't read too much into it.
